Job description
This position involves developing and enhancing cloud applications and integrations, focusing on Microsoft 365 and Azure services within a financial services environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals. The candidate will also support the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI features, to improve operational efficiency. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
- Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer or three years with a Master's degree in a related occupation.
- Demonstrated expertise in engineering and administering Microsoft 365 Tenant services.
- Experience in designing, developing, and architecting scalable software applications using Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing client and server cloud applications in a financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams.
- Define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
- Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
- Plan and coordinate complex project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
- Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
