Job description
This position involves providing analysis on complex product and systems initiatives within Fidelity's Alternative Investments platform. The role focuses on transforming the platform into a modern digital experience by gathering business requirements and performing ongoing analysis. The candidate will collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to define technology solutions and support testing efforts. Additionally, the role requires engaging with business partners to develop data-driven recommendations that enhance product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience in IT Product Management, or a Master's degree and three years of experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing corporate actions modernization using Jira and Jira Align.
- Experience in analyzing software system requirements using CICS, COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipeline building using terraform.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technology needs and system challenges across Alternative Investments.
- Conduct interviews and working sessions with business partners to validate requirements.
- Develop data-based recommendations that address complex business needs.
- Define project and product analysis plans for complex initiatives.
- Design system and workflow solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support the definition of test strategies and contribute to user acceptance testing.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.
- Participate in incident and crisis evaluation to assess business impact.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on systems analysis techniques and brokerage operations.
- Perform independent analysis across multiple initiatives while collaborating with engineering.
