Fidelity is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their Cloud Platform and Security Team, focusing on enhancing secure cloud controls across Google Cloud. The role involves collaborating with various teams to minimize risks while maintaining efficient delivery. The team is dedicated to embedding security-by-design across multiple cloud environments and operates within a modern DevSecOps culture. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cloud strategy and contribute to safeguarding customer financial well-being.

• Bachelor's or master's degree with 4+ years of experience in software and cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience in Google Cloud Platform and cloud native security tooling.
• Experience managing business priorities and making tradeoffs between pace and perfection.
• Proven expertise in leveraging Azure/GCP cloud services to architect and deliver production-grade, cloud-native systems.
• Experience in defining Cloud IAM, RBAC, and principles of least privilege.
• Proven expertise in continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Terraform and CFT.
• Preferred experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Preferred experience in cloud security tools like InsightCloudSec, Wiz, and Zscaler.

• Own and advance secure-by-default cloud controls across Google Cloud.
• Influence the team with new security trends and present risks versus rewards to management.
• Develop a point of view on new and emerging trends to advance solutions for efficiency.
• Design and deliver work for the team in the most efficient manner.
• Share insights, knowledge, and industry practices across the organization.
• Lead or support cloud security incident response and root cause analysis.
• Drive new policies and standards for Google Cloud based on industry cybersecurity standards.
• Track security posture KPIs and deliver regular updates on control coverage and remediation velocity.
