This position involves designing and implementing digital assets technology solutions, focusing on developing low latency trading software in an Agile environment. The role requires creating high-performance algorithms for trading and crypto trading while ensuring that business requirements are met. The candidate will work closely with architecture design teams and serve as a liaison for business units to resolve project-related issues. Mentorship of junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategy are also key aspects of this role.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience in the same role.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing distributed, low-latency, high throughput applications using CI/CD, TDD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Java, Python, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS in an electronic trading environment.
• Proficiency in applying DevOps principles throughout the SDLC using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Sonar.

• Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and validate test plans.
• Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
• Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Meet project goals on-time and on-budget while advising on risk assessment strategies.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project and technology issues.
• Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates.
• Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical and functional analysis.
