The Principal Full Stack Engineer will craft and develop enterprise digital applications utilizing MVC design patterns and microservice architectures. This role focuses on both front-end and back-end development using a variety of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. The engineer will guide the development of robust software applications and translate business initiatives into technical solutions. Additionally, the position involves mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Full Stack Engineer.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Full Stack Engineer.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing high volume transaction-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience in migrating mainframe-based applications to distributed applications using Java/J2EE and relational databases.
• Proficiency in deploying enterprise applications using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.

• Participate in architecture design teams.
• Define and implement application-level architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review test plans.
• Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plan and coordinate complex project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project and technology issues.
• Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
• Advise senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
