This position is for a Principal Software Engineer/Developer focused on designing and implementing large-scale, distributed Spring Boot and Java microservices. The role involves building advanced CI/CD frameworks and cloud-native architectures while ensuring compliance and security. The engineer will work with various technologies including AWS, Kafka, and Angular, and will mentor junior team members. The position requires a strong background in full stack development within a financial services environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience in the same role.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing full stack Java-based multi-tier architectures using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and JUnit.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

• Participate in architecture design teams.
• Define and implement application-level architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and review and validate test plans.
• Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project and technology issues.
• Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
• Advise senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
