This position combines product thinking, technical investigation, and hands-on validation to improve product quality and user workflows. You will collaborate with developers and product engineers to understand user needs and refine sharing capabilities. Your work will ensure that complex sharing scenarios are transformed into reliable and intuitive product features.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related C# programming experience for automated test development
  • Experience testing or troubleshooting software features in a collaborative development environment
  • Ability to evaluate workflows from a user perspective and translate requirements into clear test plans and product feedback
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to investigate complex software behavior
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, design, documentation, and product teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for ArcGIS Pro sharing workflows, focusing on product quality and regression coverage.
  • Build test coverage for workflows that share GIS content to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Analyze customer scenarios and product requirements to identify expected behavior, edge cases, and areas where automated validation is needed.
  • Investigate test failures and product issues, communicate findings clearly, and help drive defects to resolution.
  • Work with developers and product teams to refine sharing workflows and ensure new capabilities are testable, reliable, and ready for release.
  • Support documentation, messaging, and user-facing workflows by validating behavior and helping clarify how users share GIS content successfully.
