The Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern will join the Huntsville team at Jacobs, focusing on delivering innovative projects in water and wastewater engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects, from planning and design to construction phases. Interns will receive mentorship from professional engineers and senior technical staff, fostering their growth in the engineering field. • Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil, Construction, Environmental, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
• Relevant coursework or projects in the field of engineering.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Assist with the delivery of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects.
• Conduct field investigations and hydraulic evaluations.
• Perform cost estimation and utilize GIS and CAD software for design.
• Support data entry, document preparation, and project management tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
