Job description
As an Entry Level Software Developer at IBM, you will be part of the Infrastructure team, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-class software solutions. Your work will support IBM's infrastructure offerings, including hybrid cloud and data protection products. You will collaborate with various teams to create scalable and secure applications that enhance client IT environments. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
- Experience developing REST APIs or microservices.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and deployment.
- Collaborate with product management and quality assurance teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and test plans.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality.
