Qualcomm is seeking a Graphics Software Engineer to join their Engineering Group, focusing on GPU hardware, drivers, and applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance next-generation gaming, XR, and AI experiences. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing GPU performance. This position requires a strong foundation in software engineering and programming languages suitable for graphics.

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
• 1+ year of academic and/or work experience with one or more programming languages suitable for graphics, such as C++ or C.

• Architect, design, implement, and verify the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools.
• Write code for features, drivers, and APIs using various programming languages and ensure effective performance across different platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests to verify performance and identify issues.
• Identify deficiencies in designs and collaborate with team members to develop solutions.
• Collaborate with teams and external stakeholders to expose new features and functionality.
• Write detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for projects.
