As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Jacobs, you will focus on preparing detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer status.
• 10+ years of working experience in the water industry in an electrical engineering role.
• Experience in designing and delivering municipal projects via different delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E and NFPA 820.

• Prepare detailed electrical power system designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary work for overall project success.
• Write and edit electrical specifications and select equipment.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during the construction phase.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, participating in startup activities.
