Job description

The Structural Engineering Professional Associate will be a key member of the design team, responsible for performing structural analysis and design for various projects. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Structural Leads and other engineers. The team focuses on delivering complex and specialized facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing and data centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng)
  • At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
  • Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation and selection of engineering techniques.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control in all tasks.
  • Manage workload effectively and take full ownership of assigned work.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Embrace emerging technologies and advance workflows within the structural discipline.
