The Water Resources Engineer Intern position at Jacobs focuses on providing and sustaining clean water resources in communities. Interns will work on large-scale projects, including green stormwater infrastructure and water and sewer projects. This role involves collaboration with regional water engineering staff and offers opportunities to apply engineering and hydrology principles. Interns will gain hands-on experience in various tasks related to civil, water, wastewater, and environmental projects.

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems or Chemical Engineering or another closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
• Relevant coursework or projects in the field of engineering.
• EIT or on track to obtain.

• Assist with engineering studies and computer modeling.
• Support technical report writing and engineering design using CAD.
• Provide construction services support for various projects.
• Conduct hydraulic evaluations and cost estimation.
• Utilize GIS and CAD software for project tasks.
• Assist with document and plan preparation, data entry, and project management support.
