The DevOps Intern role at IBM involves joining the engineering team to assist in building, automating, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. • High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes/OpenShift administration.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Linux.
• Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and security automation.

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Improve deployment reliability, speed, and consistency across environments.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using modern automation tools.
• Maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
• Participate in incident response and operational support activities.
