The CMMS Engineer role focuses on maintaining and managing asset data within Amazon's data center region using Hexagon EAM. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and maintenance scheduling. The engineer will also be responsible for data integrity, process automation, and training staff on the CMMS application. The CMMS team plays a crucial role in supporting AWS Data Center Central Operations by ensuring that physical infrastructure is organized and audit-ready.

• 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience
• 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools
• Working knowledge in EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding and naming convention

• Setup and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM
• Ensure that asset details are captured to match the digital record
• Align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application
• Perform routine data scrubs and identify and correct anomalies
• Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences
• Connect AWS data center operations teams with systems that track physical equipment
• Tag and catalog new equipment as sites grow
• Support staff through Slack and training
• Schedule preventive maintenance and keep asset records accurate
• Contribute to projects that improve the tools the team relies on
