Amazon Web Services is seeking Software Development Engineers to create highly available and fault-tolerant distributed network systems for AWS infrastructure. The team is focused on redefining networking and infrastructure to support exponential growth and reliability. Engineers will work on next-generation cloud network control planes and critical system components that power a global network infrastructure. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Design and build software for next-generation distributed network products and services
• Develop system components critical to data center fabrics and interconnect networks
• Collaborate with team members to innovate and solve complex problems in scale, availability, and performance
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and participate in code reviews
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results
