The Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer role focuses on creating resilient cloud systems for mission-critical operations within AWS's Region Reliability Engineering team. Engineers will innovate and automate solutions to enhance operational excellence and reliability. The position requires collaboration with industry experts and support for U.S. Intelligence and Defense agencies. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be ready to tackle complex technical challenges.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
• 1+ years of systems administration experience in Linux or Windows.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
• Experience with AWS CLI or AWS Console.

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and minimize manual intervention.
• Expand regional coverage for AWS's critical services.
• Conduct deep dives into system and service interdependencies to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
• Collaborate with industry-recognized engineers and contribute to a culture of excellence and reliability.
• Partner with U.S. Intelligence and Defense agencies to ensure mission resilience.
