As an SDE2 in the FleetWatch team, you will own features from design through deployment and operation, focusing on real-time monitoring of AWS data centers. You will collaborate with controls engineers and operations teams to enhance alarm configurations and outputs. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using Python, Java, or TypeScript
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews

• Build the services behind FleetWatch's real-time monitoring pipeline and own features end-to-end.
• Contribute to the services that route alarms and tickets to data center operations teams.
• Build and operate the offline path, including the datalake for analytics and APIs for metric data exposure.
• Drive efficiency at scale by simplifying systems and reducing processing costs.
• Define infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and ensure operational health of deployments.
• Author designs for your work and provide meaningful feedback in design reviews.
• Mentor earlier-career engineers through code review and pairing.
