The AmazonAPI team is focused on enhancing the Amazon.com shopping experience by providing a consistent REST endpoint for core shopping data. As an engineer, you will advocate for partner teams and contribute to the design and development of the developer experience. The team aims to standardize shopping data and improve API discoverability while processing millions of transactions every second. You will work closely with various engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Be a key contributor to the team strategy and roadmap.
• Develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges facing diverse data owners.
• Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and partner developers to design and implement solutions.
• Drive a consistent platform experience across the different parts of the AmazonAPI product suite.
