The Apple System RF team is seeking an experienced Radio Frequency (RF) System Integration Engineer to lead the development and optimization of RF automation testing systems for Apple's cellular products. This role involves providing technical leadership within a hands-on development team, driving engineering rigor and innovation across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF fundamentals and communications theory, enabling them to tackle complex RF problems independently. The position requires a seasoned engineer who can define solutions in ambiguous problem spaces and mentor other engineers.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, including specifying or architecting test setups.
• 6+ years of professional experience in C/C++ system-level software development.
• Proven experience designing or leading the development of RF test automation systems or frameworks.
• Working proficiency with data processing and statistical analysis tools such as Python or MATLAB.
• Deep experience with current and emerging Cellular standards like LTE and 5G NR.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in RF engineering, test systems, or wireless communications.
