Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for lab characterization and validation of Apple custom silicon devices. You will ensure that silicon and system power delivery meet Apple's high quality standards before integration into products. The position involves developing and executing electrical validation plans for Apple SoCs and working closely with various engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys hands-on hardware work and system-level debugging.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related degree program with 0 years of experience.
- Strong fundamentals in power electronics, power delivery, and circuit analysis.
- Familiarity with PMICs and board-level power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand circuit schematics.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and electrical measurement techniques.
- Strong hardware debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Programming or scripting experience in Python is a plus.
- Knowledge of scan testing, DFT, or ATE concepts is helpful.
- Experience with schematic level board design is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute electrical validation plans for Apple SoCs.
- Conduct power delivery network analysis and functional testing.
- Debug issues on silicon validation hardware.
- Collaborate with engineers across silicon design, DFT, hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Communicate validation findings effectively.
