This position involves designing and developing digital vault and e-signature software solutions primarily using Java. The role requires collaboration with systems analysts and other developers to create effective software applications while ensuring adherence to project limitations and performance requirements. The engineer will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategies. The focus is on delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree in the same fields with relevant experience.
• Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer or three years with a Master's degree in a related occupation.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and building enterprise cloud-enabled distributed systems using Java, Spring, and Microservices.
• Experience with building messaging frameworks using Apache Kafka and ensuring high throughput and low latency.

• Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
• Develop applications on complex projects and components for the division.
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and validate test plans.
• Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
• Mentor junior team members and perform independent technical analysis for multiple projects.
