The Product Deployment Engineer role within the Retail, Search+, gTech team focuses on providing complex search and shopping consulting for Google's top enterprise advertising clients. This position acts as a bridge between customer business requirements and gTech Ads' service offerings, ensuring that customer needs are translated into scalable product strategies. The role requires strong customer engagement skills and the ability to develop high-quality technical specifications. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• 5 years of experience in building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies and SQL databases.
• Experience in either system design or reading code.

• Advise on maximizing complex product adoption and prioritize scalable solutions.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear system architectures and technical specifications.
• Lead technical hand-overs to the Engineering team by authoring high-quality Business Requirement Documents.
• Identify systemic product gaps and serve as a feedback loop to the Ads Solution Engineering team.
• Act as a trusted advisor providing technical oversight during implementation.
