• Minimum BS degree is required.
• Scripting experience in Perl, Python, and TCL is necessary.
• Broad knowledge related to micro-architecture and physical implementation is essential.
• Experience with industry-standard power analysis tools like PrimePower and PowerArtist is required.
• Academic or industry experience with CPU architecture and implementation is preferred.

• Analyze and estimate the power impact of implementing new micro-architectural features.
• Generate power rollups and projected estimates from initial to mature net lists throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze power contributions to identify opportunities for recovery in physical implementation and RTL.
• Create power projections considering the expected cost of convergence and implementation, and refine the process.
