Job description
The role is focused on providing market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for advanced IC manufacturing within KLA's Broadband Plasma Division. The team is responsible for ensuring that chipmakers can quickly and cost-effectively ramp next-generation devices to volume production. Candidates will work alongside experts in engineering and physical sciences to tackle complex problems in optical and electromechanical systems. The position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to share technical information with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in engineering or the physical sciences.
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Good understanding of optical and electromechanical systems and their interactions.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control systems.
- Familiarity with scientific and statistical analysis tools such as Matlab and JMP is required.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, is a plus.
- Agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
- Must be an effective communicator able to share technical information with functional groups.
