The Microsoft Windows Security team is seeking a security engineer to enhance the security of Microsoft Windows products and devices, focusing on offensive security and security engineering. This hands-on role involves uncovering attack vectors, developing mitigations, and collaborating with product engineering teams. The team is responsible for securing Windows operating systems used globally, performing security reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native code and OS security fundamentals.

• Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in security or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in security or related field.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Build reusable agents and tools to improve the quality of security reviews.
• Review features and code for security defects and architectural risks.
• Act as the security contact for teams developing new products and technologies.
• Identify security vulnerabilities in key OS features and Microsoft devices.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance security and articulate its business value.
