The Forward Deployed Engineer will join the Research Technology team at Morgan Stanley to enhance AI initiatives within the Research department. This role focuses on building scalable and resilient Search and Distribution Systems while collaborating with business stakeholders in New York. The engineer will provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and adapt to evolving requirements from stakeholders. The position emphasizes innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to drive AI integrated solutions.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in technology roles.
• Advanced understanding of business lines and competitive environments.
• Proficiency in AI/GenAI technologies including LLM integration and workflow automation.
• Experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure, and tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Finance business understanding.

• Communicate regularly with product leads to discuss technology solutions.
• Work with the Search and Distribution Infrastructure Lead on strategic business objectives.
• Adapt to evolving requirements from business unit stakeholders.
• Drive Proof of Concepts for scalable AI integrated solutions.
• Champion best practices in AI integrated SDLC and Cloud technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and provide hands-on technical leadership.
