This role is focused on enhancing the performance of Apple Media products and services within the Apple Services Engineering team. The team is responsible for delivering fluid and responsive applications that delight customers. As a Tech Lead or Architect, you will collaborate with engineers across the organization to define performance metrics and optimization strategies. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

• 2+ years as a Tech Lead or Architect driving cross-organizational Performance programs
• 7+ years of industry experience optimizing for CPU, Memory and Latency issues
• 7+ years of industry experience understanding OS and Application performance best practices (iOS, macOS, Linux | Java, Swift, Web)
• 7+ years of industry experience using profiling/statistics/visualization tools relevant to performance measurement and analysis
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Aptitude to independently learn new technologies and propose new software designs and solutions
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
