As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the S3 Foundations team, you will lead the technical direction for systems that validate, release, and observe new S3 software globally. This role focuses on architecting deployment and observability systems that enhance the developer experience and operational excellence. You will drive modernization efforts and influence technical strategy across multiple teams. Your leadership will help ensure that S3 engineers can deploy changes faster and more safely.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Set the technical direction for distributed systems that deploy software to a large server fleet.
• Lead the modernization of legacy services at massive scale, owning designs end-to-end.
• Architect validation, deployment, and observability platforms for S3's front-end organization.
