The Developer Workflows team within Siri's Agentic Evaluation Engineering organization is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to guide the team in New York. This role focuses on building and maintaining developer workflows that facilitate the evaluation of Apple's internal projects. The leader will be deeply involved in coding and architecture while managing a small, senior team. The primary goal is to create systems that allow internal customers to assess changes effectively and implement verified fixes.

• 8+ years of experience building production software using languages such as Python, Swift, Go, or Java.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers as an engineering manager or tech lead.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in setting architecture, writing design documents, reviewing code, and building.
• Practical experience applying LLMs or AI agents to engineering workflows.
• Experience with developer tooling, test infrastructure, CI/CD, or evaluation and ML platforms.
• Depth in agentic systems with human-in-the-loop review.
• Experience designing and operating distributed backend services and APIs in production.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Experience with Apple's development and testing toolchain.
• A track record of driving internal adoption of a platform.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to drive quality decisions.
• Experience hiring and growing a team, including senior engineers.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
