• 2+ years of experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing.
• Experience in application security architecture, security code reviews, and incident response.
• Proficiency in coding or scripting in one or more languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
• Familiarity with application security frameworks and identity and access controls.

• Conduct security design reviews for new and existing services to evaluate potential security risks.
• Perform threat modeling exercises to identify attack vectors and security weaknesses.
• Execute or coordinate penetration testing activities to validate security controls.
• Document, track, and communicate security findings to service teams with remediation guidance.
• Provide security consultation to development teams on secure coding practices and data protection strategies.
• Identify and escalate high-severity security issues through appropriate channels.
• Maintain clear documentation of review outcomes and risk assessments.
• Leverage automated security scanning tools to support review activities.
