- Proficiency in test software/frameworks and DAQ/instrumentation specification.
- Demonstrated experience architecting test data pipelines for dashboarding and analytics.
- Ability to influence at a senior level across engineering, validation, quality, and manufacturing leadership.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop test system design and deployment at production scale.
- Experience standing up test operations for a greenfield or brownfield manufacturing facility.
- Experience in robotics or complex electromechanical manufacturing test.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end manufacturing test strategy across build iterations.
- Serve as the test voice in design trades and influence product architecture for improved testability.
- Establish test frameworks, standards, and decision criteria for the engineering team.
- Partner with Engineering, Validation, and Quality leadership to align V&V requirements with production test capability.
- Architect the test data strategy and ensure real-time production visibility.
- Drive the design and deployment of manufacturing test systems for high throughput.
- Design operator-friendly test setups that inform high-volume line requirements.
- Specify and procure test instrumentation and make strategic build-vs-buy decisions.
- Scale test solutions from single-station to multi-station, operator-run systems.
- Analyze test data to drive quality and design improvements at a systems level.
Benefits
- Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric).
