The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software solutions while providing technical leadership on projects. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, or Python.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

• Provide technical leadership on projects.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
• Improve the BigQuery engine to remove bottlenecks for low latency queries.
• Work with the BigQuery and Dremel codebase, primarily in C++ with some Java and Python.
