Job description
The Fab Process Engineering Lead at Raxium will join a talented team focused on developing innovative display technology based on GaN-on-Si micro LEDs. This role involves overseeing semiconductor process engineering in wafer fab manufacturing, ensuring seamless transitions from proof-of-concept to manufacturing. The position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders while managing engineering cross-functions. The successful candidate will contribute to the advancement of next-generation display markets.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering in semiconductor wafer fab manufacturing.
- 7 years of technical leadership experience.
- Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
- Black belt of six sigma practitioner is preferred.
- 15 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering in high-volume semiconductor wafer fab manufacturing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own select process engineering areas, ensuring seamless transitions from proof-of-concept to manufacturing.
- Drive the strategic wafer fab roadmap and deliver key performance indicators by overseeing process innovation.
- Implement equipment and process optimization to maximize production efficiencies and optimize wafer output.
- Utilize statistical process control, failure mode and effect analysis, and structured problem-solving to eliminate systemic bottlenecks.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for fab operations, ensuring all safety, quality, and manufacturability standards are surpassed.
- Cultivate an engaged engineering team through proactive performance management and talent development.
