As a Senior Software Engineer on the Tokenization team at Robinhood, you will design and build core systems for issuing, custodying, and settling tokenized equities on-chain. This role focuses on integrating traditional financial systems with blockchain technology to create a 24/7 trading environment. You will lead complex projects and make architectural decisions that impact real customer assets. The team values high performance, ethics, and innovation in the evolving landscape of finance.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Expertise in backend development with Go, Python, or Java, and deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture.
• Strong instincts for correctness-critical systems, including idempotency and reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional projects with the ability to make tradeoffs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
• Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals or a strong appetite to learn quickly.

• Design, build, and operate backend services that mint, custody, and settle tokenized equities across leading blockchains.
• Own large, technically complex projects end to end, including design, implementation, rollout, and operation.
• Build integrations between traditional market infrastructure and on-chain systems, including smart contracts.
• Partner with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to design systems that meet regulatory constraints.
• Raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentorship.
