The Sr. Process Engineer at Elanco is responsible for supporting the design, operation, control, and optimization of technical processes at the Elwood, Kansas monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. This role serves as a subject matter expert for processes and equipment, focusing on data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. The engineer will play a vital role in daily operations while leading local and major capital projects. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a related regulated industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and deliver results in cross-functional team environments with minimal supervision.

• Provide engineering solutions for process and equipment issues.
• Ensure equipment and processes operate in alignment with regulatory commitments and cGMPs.
• Use performance and capacity analysis to identify and implement improvements.
• Support project teams in the delivery of local and major capital projects.
• Create, review, and revise critical technical documentation.
• Participate in hazardous operations and process safety reviews.
• Partner with team members to identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare and execute change management plans.
