The Senior Software Engineer (Agentic AI) role is focused on designing and shipping core components of the agentic sales platform at Microsoft. This position is part of the Scale and Partner AI Experiences (SPAI) organization, which aims to transform Microsoft's sales ecosystem through AI-first innovation. The engineer will take ownership of features from prototype to production and will work closely with various teams to enhance the platform's capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a strong bias for action and experience with AI-driven systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with at least one of C#, TypeScript, or Python, and comfortable across all three.
• 1+ year of experience shipping LLM-based or agent-based systems in production.
• Production experience with major agent stacks such as Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, AutoGen, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• Proficiency in AI-native development and experience with agentic tools.

• Design and build major components of the agentic sales platform, including orchestration and observability.
• Own components end to end, from prototype to production, making critical judgment calls.
• Partner with AI Foundry, Microsoft Research, and other organizations to utilize shared primitives.
• Contribute to the evaluation and Responsible AI standards for shipping agents in the Sales surface.
• Help raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design reviews, and mentoring peers.
