Citi is seeking a Digital Software Engineer to lead the digital architecture strategy within a significant financial technology environment. This role involves setting the technical direction for the Digital team, focusing on designing reliable and scalable platforms that impact business outcomes. The engineer will work independently to tackle complex architectural challenges while mentoring junior engineers. • 10 or more years of experience in an enterprise architecture role with expertise in technology domains.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver secure, performant, and scalable solutions across cloud platforms including AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Akamai.
• Hands-on expertise with web and mobile frameworks including Angular and iOS and Android native development.
• Ability to work independently at a senior level, making high-impact architectural decisions without requiring day-to-day guidance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.

• Define and own the technical architecture strategy for Citi's Digital engineering team.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems and services.
• Lead architecture design reviews and drive system enhancements.
• Guide and mentor engineers across seniority levels.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and engage with external vendors.
• Build and analyze delivery metrics to measure engineering and operational excellence.
• Represent Citi's engineering capability externally through conferences and publications.
• Identify and manage technical and business risk proactively.
