• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Own the full software development lifecycle for components across the platform.
• Ensure components are secure by design and meet high standards for consistency and availability.
• Anticipate software behavior at scale and under degraded conditions in design decisions.
• Continuously raise operational posture through metrics, monitoring, and alarms.
• Provide meaningful feedback through design and code reviews.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and communicate progress, risks, and blockers.
• Collaborate across team boundaries and contribute to the team's technical direction.
