The role is for a system software engineer on Apple's GPU Kernel/Firmware team, which is part of the Graphics, Games, & ML organization. This team is responsible for designing and building the low-level software that connects the operating system to the GPU across all Apple products. The engineer will focus on memory management, power management, and error concealment for various workloads. The position requires deep knowledge of system architecture to deliver high-performance drivers.

• 5 plus years of strong programming skills in C/C++
• Solid understanding of computer system architecture
• Experience with driver development or operating system concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience with power management and control theory
• Experience with GPU architecture or graphics/compute driver development
