The Info Apps DevOps team is responsible for the infrastructure that supports Apple News, Stocks, Weather, and Apple Creator Studio, impacting millions of users globally. This role focuses on designing and building infrastructure for multi-cloud and on-premises environments, emphasizing development tooling and CI/CD pipeline improvements. The position involves close collaboration with engineering and SRE teams to create scalable solutions using Kubernetes and AWS. Daily tasks will include automation and tooling development, along with operational support.

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure-focused engineering role.
• Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, Groovy, or Java.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems including ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Gradle/Maven.
• Proven experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and core networking concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and experience supporting AI/ML development environments.
• Experience maintaining and debugging Spring-based Java runtime environments.
• Strong background in modern web services architectures including REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with data infrastructure components such as Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Postgres, or Redis.

• Design and build infrastructure that serves millions of concurrent users.
• Focus on development tooling, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Partner closely with engineering and SRE teams to architect scalable solutions.
