This role is for a software engineer in the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) team, focusing on building systems that leverage AI-driven development to solve complex business problems. The team is dedicated to innovating large-scale streaming platforms and enhancing e-commerce development. Engineers will work collaboratively to design and implement technical solutions while maintaining high code quality. The position offers an opportunity to impact global demand from day one by fulfilling FBA selection directly from warehouses.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity
• Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services

• Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions
• Use object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale
• Innovate and build large scale near real-time streaming platforms
• Design, launch, refactor, re-architect, and/or deprecate multi-tier systems with large amounts of data
• Quickly adapt to fast-paced development environments and bias towards simple and extensible code
• Use AI coding agents as a primary development tool while owning the correctness, security, and operational quality of what ships
• Build the context and scaffolding that make agents effective on the codebase
• Identify high-leverage automation opportunities in the software development life cycle
