Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Hardware Security Architect to define and guide the implementation of security architecture for innovative SoCs and GPUs. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams within NVIDIA and external partners to meet security requirements across various platforms including mobile, automotive, gaming, and server. The architect will play a hands-on role in developing a long-term security roadmap and ensuring compliance with security standards. The position is ideal for someone who is creative and autonomous, with a passion for crafting secure silicon and platforms.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, PhD (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 8+ years of meaningful relevant work or research experience.
  • Experience with the ASIC design process and architecture of large SoCs or GPUs.
  • Proficiency in programming and debugging across languages such as C/C++, Verilog, ARM assembly, and Python/Perl scripting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic customer-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the company to guide the direction of platform security and develop a long-term security roadmap.
  • Research, design, and develop architecture solutions that meet internal and external security requirements and standards.
  • Review architectural, microarchitectural, and verification specifications to ensure compliance with platform security requirements.
  • Work with customers and partners to identify and address security issues and threats.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
