The Principal Fullstack Software Engineer will join the Fidelity Digital Asset Management technology team, focusing on building a new product. This role requires a hands-on developer with extensive experience in software application development, particularly in the financial and asset management sectors. The engineer will collaborate with architects and business partners to develop a Java Spring/Spring Boot microservice backend and an Angular UI, deployed in EKS clusters on AWS. The team supports Fidelity's Asset Management business and promotes a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

• A minimum of 10 years of software application development experience, preferably in the financial or asset management industry.
• A BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Extensive experience in Middle Tier Application Development using Java Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL, along with Front End Application Development using Angular.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Blockchain technologies like Web3 and smart contract development is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

• Develop software applications while demonstrating a solid understanding of the business functions for which the application is designed.
• Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Drive the culture of innovation, research, and technical excellence within the team.
• Collaborate with engineering and product managers, architects, and teams of blockchain and Fullstack engineers.
