Job description
The Graduate internship at Intel Foundry Logic Technology Development (LTD) focuses on semiconductor manufacturing and innovative device architectures. Interns will engage in scientific research, experiment design, and process development within the Metals team. This role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, contributing to process integration and yield improvement initiatives. Interns will work closely with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance technology solutions.
Requirements
- PhD student in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing fundamentals, including thin films deposition, lithography, etching, and polishing.
- Experience in thin films materials deposition techniques and characterization, with hands-on lab or fab equipment experience.
- Data analysis skills with the ability to construct clear data-based problem statements and design experiments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to process development and continuous improvement of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Design, execute, analyze experiments, and present conclusions and recommendations to the group.
- Collaborate with fab technicians and support experiment execution with clear instructions.
- Assist engineering teams in troubleshooting process flow issues and optimizing metrology strategies.
- Apply statistical analysis and design experiments to enhance process reliability and throughput.
- Gain experience in materials and device characterization techniques.
