Job description
As a Product Design Engineer for Pixel Earbuds, you will be responsible for designing the next generation of earbuds. You will work in a collaborative environment, driving design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage various responsibilities across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the design balances comfort, performance, and aesthetics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes.
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
Responsibilities
- Apply design, engineering, and technical expertise to influence cross-functionally and deliver reliable mass production components.
- Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design to suggest or implement design improvements.
- Manage the product design, provide guidance to team members, and communicate progress while requesting feedback to prevent or remove roadblocks.
