Job description
This entry-level position serves as a technical liaison between OEMs and customers during new product development programs. The role focuses on integrating Cummins' products into customer vehicles, ensuring high performance and low-cost solutions. The candidate will work closely with sales and marketing teams to deliver optimized customer solutions. The primary focus will be on On-Highway Truck customers, specifically supporting the integration of B, X10, and X15 platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field is required.
- Solid engineering competencies in thermal and fluid mechanics, controls, and structural analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with flexibility and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Investigate integration and installation problems and recommend appropriate actions.
- Apply and support the improvement of processes such as Installation Quality Assurance.
- Develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts.
- Translate customer needs into functional product requirements.
- Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements.
- Own problem resolution for moderately complex components and systems.
