Job description
The Product Management & Innovation (PM&I) Intern will work with Bain's AI, Insights & Solutions team to redefine product management in the age of AI. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and launch digital products and services. Interns will gain hands-on experience in human-centered design and agile methodologies while contributing to real business challenges. Successful interns may receive full-time offers for Summer 2028.
Requirements
- MBA students with a passion for technology, innovation, and product development
- Strong mix of business acumen and technical curiosity
- Exposure to agile, product management, or design thinking
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret business context, technical information, and customer needs
- Based in or open to working from New York or San Francisco
Responsibilities
- Identify and validate opportunities for innovation using human-centered design methods
- Translate user and business needs into product concepts, prototypes, and MVPs
- Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap development for digital initiatives
- Partner with engineers, designers, and clients to test and iterate solutions rapidly
- Support agile ceremonies, define user stories, and help manage backlogs across cross-functional teams
- Document and share internship learnings to senior Bain leaders
