As a Staff Camera Firmware Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be part of the IoT Camera Software team, focusing on designing advanced imaging features and developing camera software systems. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure world-class camera performance across Qualcomm IoT devices. You will also be responsible for architecting drivers for advanced imaging hardware and prototyping solutions on Qualcomm IoT platforms. This position requires a strong background in embedded systems and image processing techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel internals and device-driver models.

• Design and develop new image-processing features for next-generation camera systems.
• Architect and implement drivers for advanced imaging hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy robust, production-ready imaging software.
• Prototype and validate solutions on Qualcomm IoT Dragonwing platforms.
• Contribute to the design, development, debug, implementation, and verification of camera software.
