Arcadis is seeking a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Engineer to join their Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization team in Atlanta, Georgia. This senior seller/doer role focuses on leading strategic growth initiatives in the Data Center sector while supporting other industrial markets. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and strong client relationships, aiming to solve complex water and sustainability challenges. The role offers opportunities to influence market strategy and lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering impactful projects.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 20+ years of industrial water and wastewater experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing, winning, and delivering industrial water and wastewater projects for industrial clients.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and major capital projects.
• Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and project delivery.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client engagement skills.

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing and prospective industrial clients.
• Lead business development activities including opportunity identification, positioning, proposal development, interviews, and pursuit leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and advance a robust portfolio of opportunities that supports sustained growth of the Industrial Water practice.
• Collaborate with Arcadis client account teams, sector leaders, and technical experts to expand client relationships and increase market presence.
• Lead the planning, design, execution, and optimization of industrial water, wastewater, water reuse, and resource recovery projects.
• Serve as Project Director, Technical Director, Design Manager, or Subject Matter Expert on complex projects and major capital programs.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with client expectations and Arcadis quality standards.
